Taking My Dog To The Doctor

So, since last Wednesday my lovely fluffball of a dog named Biscuit has been limping. All four of her paws have been checked multiple times by everyone in the family and I have checked all her legs and nothing seems to be wrong that we can tell. So today my mother FINALLY made appointment for my dad and I to take her to the vet because it's almost been a week and she is still limping and whining when she gets up. Yesterday we were talking with some family friends and they think she might have burnt the pads of her feet when I took her for a walk last week. When I took her on the walk that day I took her on the asphalt because I had forgotten to bring a poop bag (because she ALWAYS poops on walks. always.)and when we got back nothing seemed wrong and I took my other dog on a walk but this time one the sidewalk because she never poops on a walk and once again I forgot a bag (I forget everything.). When I got back to the house I sat down and both the dogs were chillin' and laying...

Phoenix Comicon 2011

I’m beyond exhausted because of Comicon. I spent a lot of time wandering around the vendor hall looking at all the artists and such. I only went to two panels but I did manage to get to a Kingdom Hearts panel and a Doctor Who panel. In the vendor hall I bought a few comics, an awesome Sailor Moon drawing for my friend, a LOT of buttons, a few fake tattoo things, and some awesome books. I had some good times at con this year. I spent the last day the way I did last year: collecting business cards. I just spent the last hour of so going through all the business cards I got. I had both mine and my friends and so I had to divide them between the two of us, making my job a bit harder. If there is only one card of someone’s that means I have to go to their website today and check them out. It’ll be time consuming but awesome. 8D Speaking of Doctor Who, on Thursday I started watching it. I started with the first episode that came to America (2005) and I have come to the conclusion that I love...

Funerals

Funerals are very sad. You say goodbye to your loved one and you cry because you know you will never see them again until you die yourself. I was sad at this funeral, but I was happy because like everyone who was there said, it was a good thing. He got to escape the life that was forced upon him. He was a loving, caring, and compassionate man who was taken advantage of and lost. Even though losing him sucked, I know he's a free and happy soul. There is always a fork in the road and sometimes the illusions on one side seem better than the reality on the other. The drugs and the abuse were hidden behind the smiles and the thoughts of being accepted. For anyone reading, I want you to realize that even if your on the wrong path you can always find someone to lead onto a path that will give you joy and a meaning in your life. Live long and prosper XD. Sam.

Junior Year Comes to a Close

As I said farewell to the seniors from my high school today, I realized that I only have one year left of the hell hole of high school. I love my friends and my classes are pretty cool, but the thing that makes it a hell hole are my parents and few classes and people that go to my school. I'm so glad that my year is closing. I only have three more days of class and two of them are half days. One of my earlier posts had something about where my cousin was killed by a police man, well his funeral is going to be sometime between Wednesday and Sunday and I'm nervous and sad. I'm also angry at my father because when he cry's he isn't a man about it. He starts to cry and he puts on his sun glasses and tries to act as if nothing is wrong. Well, dad, it's really weird to put your sunglasses on after you just took them off because you are definitely inside. So why don't you grow a pair and take them off because you just look like a pussy wearing them. Show your tears...

Saving Animals

I feel better that I decided to stop yesterday and save two baby birds. One of them ran in front of my car and I slammed on my breaks to avoid hitting it. After that I got out of my car and attempted to catch them until they ran under a car of a lady who was next to me. I walked up to her window and told her that I saw some baby birds run under her car and she got out of the car and helped me catch them. It was pretty interesting and intense... and we blocked traffic a bit... >.> but STILL! we saved the lives of two baby animals. 8D Win. Sam.

Things That Slap You Across The Face

-finding out that someone you love and are related to dies. -finding out that they died because they got pulled over, supposedly pulled a gun, and was shot at by the cop that pulled them over -knowing your uncle, the father of the dead relative who is also a cop, was the second person on the scene and had to identify the body -getting called at five o'clock to find out your cousin died. -crying and crying not for yourself, but for the fact that your cousin's sister and daughters, mother, and father will never see them again -knowing your uncle has to work with the man who shot his son. -knowing that in a year or less you will forget about your cousin because his name won't be on anyone's lips or minds after he is buried. -knowing that after the funeral, you will think about him for a few weeks before the numbness takes over your mind and you resume your daily routine -knowing you are disappointed in yourself because you know you will forget what happened to him today. History In The Making

We are all a history in the making and thinking about how history is unfolding these days makes me think about how we take four months in school to go through thousands of years of history but we skip all the little cracks in between the large parts of history. Years upon years from now the children sitting in their history class will learn about Osama bin Laden and even though it has taken 10+ years to get him it will take them less than one day to cover the events. Te class will go over the beginning of Osama to his end in a period of less than an hour and a half. I'm not a big history person but I wish we spent more time going over the little things and all the fights that we won and lost to get where we are today. Whether they were fights in a home or fights blown up to a world wide scale, I wanna know. The way history unfolded and still continues to unfold is so much more than in the books. I want to relive how people lived back in the stone age and the ages that follow that. ...

Starship

Win. Have you heard of Team Star Kid? No? You suck BUT if you click this link you will suck no more. StarKidPotter are an amazing group of talented hooligans that produce amazing things such as the stuff on that there youtube. Feel free to browse through their FOUR musicals (all thought up and produced by them). I would recommend starting with A Very Potter Musical, moving on to A Very Potter Sequel, Me and My Dick, and concluding with Starship. All amazing. Then move onto their one season show of Little White Lie. Everything is Supermegafoxyawesomehot. Just sayin. Do it. Sam.
