My Little Pony Friendship is Magic

Good lord do I hate/love my friend for making me watch this. It's a good show, honestly, but I feel weird watching it because I know it wasn't meant for my age group. LE SIGH. Either way, I'm four episodes into the second season and when I'm done I'll continue watching Doctor Who... yeah, I did stop watching Doctor Who so I could watch My Little Pony... I just started on Martha in Doctor Who so it's not like I was caught up with the show anyway... Yeah, yeah, I know... I'm weird. XP It's just who I am. So I had originally planned to do NaNoWriMo this year, and actually complete it, but I'm at 3000 words when I need to be at close to six times more than that. I don't even know what my word count is supposed to be for today, but I've given up on NaNo this year because I just don't have the time. I also have a ten page research paper rough draft due on the seventeenth and I've barely started so I figure I'll get enough writing in t...

Long Time, No Post

Because I never remember... and sometimes (all the time) even when I do remember, I just don't feel like typing out an update. I'm that lazy. But for some reason when I watch HankGames on YouTube I need to be doing something else at the same time to keep myself focused on what he's saying. Anyway, I couldn't think of something else to do, so I decided I would update you on my life. I have a job! I work weekends at Chuck E. Cheese's 8D I was so excited when I got the job and it's pretty fun, too. There are so many nice and helpful people there and I just love them! 8D I got off early tonight too since there wasn't anyone there really. I started working last weekend and one of the first two things I did when I got there was something called Kid Check, where I basically stamp peoples hands to make sure their children don't get stolen. I also ran food to tables and cleaned up after people finished eating. I really enjoyed last weekend. Today, I was somethin...

School

School makes me want to rip my head off every morning that I have to wake up at five to get ready. I want to know who thought it was a good idea for high school to start at 7:20 in the morning. WHO THOUGHT THAT? Why did they think that was right? "Let's make these stupid teens get up before eight in the morning to learn something so they're half asleep and could possibly fall asleep in class and fail. How's that sound Ethan?" "That sounds great, Ben! You are such a genius!" "I am, aren't I?" Well you know what Ethan? You're a dick and I hate you. Why you gotta go around ruining everything and makin' people wake up at FIVE IN THE MORNING so they can go to something and be late. Also, if you're late to class sending a kid to pit (that room where they get to sit the whole hour and do NOTHING) isn't a good idea. Kids at my school show up late just to go to pit but all the district is really doing is setting those kids up for ...

They See Me Bloggin'

They hatin'. Long time no blog! 8D So I started my last year of high school today and I was pretty excited... sadly I had stayed up until 1:30 or so in the morning playing Pokémon and proceeded to wake up at five! Woo? It was a good day, though... I have nothing to talk about, but I thought I'd update! 8D

Sigh

So this past week one of my very best friends flew out from California. We spent a week together and sadly this morning she had to fly back out. I miss her so much and she is honestly one of the most epic people I have ever met. She and a few of my other friends have helped shape me and expand my interests, especially her. I think she said something about her parents flying me out for her birthday, so hopefully that'll happen. We had a lot of fun adventures this past week and I'm so sad that they're over. 8[ Sam

Too Much Goodness

The internet is filled with so much goodness that it makes me explode on the inside. On YouTube I am subscribed to way too many people and I follow most of them religiously on all different websites. So earlier in this morningish time I filmed (and probably failed) a video of me singing If I Die Young by The Band Perry. Hopefully tomorrow I will edit it and post onto YouTube! I also realized how much I suck at playing guitar, how badly my guitar needs tuning, and how noisy my dogs are. They wouldn't stop walking around and their collars make sounds when they walk and one of them kept running through the doggie door causing it to clack loudly. I was a mess and my voice started killing itself and so I tried once more and hopefully that was the money take. If not, I guess I'll just have to refilm. Twitch. Sigh, oh the hard life I lead *lays on thick sarcasm* So, in news other than the fact that I'm a failure, I'm not sure how I feel about Casey Anthony being found 'not...

Kansas Was A Blast

I tried to put up a post from my phone but all it really did was send it to here as multiple posts. SIGH. Anyway, Kansas was awesome and I wish I could have spent more time there. So much fun, too little time to spend with people. So on the way up to Kansas my dad and I were supposed to alternate driving but he refused to let me drive and I got mad but held my silence. While in Kansas my Aunt Shirley got mad at my dad for never teaching me how to cook and then demanded he teach me. Since we got back I have cooked a meal and a quarter... ish. The second meal I tried to cook ended up like all the previous times I'd tried cooking. I started off and he found one tiny thing wrong with it and so he took over and basically butted me out of the kitchen. While in Kansas I got to see one of the friends I met on YouTube and it was awesome. My Aunt Shirley got a dog that was very adorable and cute. Then, after all the packed days, we started on our way home. Of the 24+ hours that it took us to...

Leaving for Kansas Tomorrow

I'm waking up at four in the morning and we are leaving at five thirty. I'll be going to bed in about an hour and I still have packing that I need to finish. It's going to be a long night because I doubt that I'll be getting to sleep soon. I'll be having breakfast with my brother and his girlfriend tomorrow at a restaurant called The Place and then my father, grandpa, and I are going to be headed to my grandpa's brother Richards house in Colorado. He said that the smoke from the wildfire is really clogging up the air. While we're in Colorado I'm going to give him a copy of a picture I drew my sophomore year of my great grandpa. I think that he'll really like it. 8] After spending the night at Uncle Richards we're going to be continuing on our way to Kansas. We will be spending plenty of time in Kansas with my awesome family out there. On fathers day I'm going to take my dad and my grandpa out for lunch. I'm super excited to leave tomorrow...

Kansas

So I will be leaving for Kansas in a few days with my dad and my grandpa. We are going to alternate driving which is going to be really interesting. I have yet to pack but I probably should. Today my mom and I tried to deposit the check I got for working but banks are stupid and make me want to punch infants. Anyway, we were going to deposit the check so I could get a sketch book for the road trip and a present for my friend who is having her birthday party tomorrow. The bank decided to be a hoe on a stick and so we couldn't get the money. My mom paid for my friends gift and I am going to have to buy the sketch book before I leave. We then went to Kohl's to go shopping but sadly that store doesn't like short or fat people because I couldn't find my size in pants in anything besides average length. Sigh, if only I were thinner... and taller. I think that all stores assume that people are of average height or taller because I only found a few sizes of ANY pants that were ...

Day Two Of Workin'

So today I woke up at... oh, noon? I think it was some time around noon. Anyway, I woke up and did the showering and the eating and blah blah blah. My parents left for a vacation thing without me and I left for work. Today I worked for about four and a half hours which was nice compared to yesterday's fourteen. Soon I will be going to bed because tomorrow I have to wake up at ten so I can get to work by noon. There are going to be two shows tomorrow so I'm assuming I'll be working, at the least, ten hours? I'm liking this work thing because I know at the end of it all I will be getting paid. 8] This has only motivated me more to get a job that will actually be more than one weekend. After I get back from Kansas I am going to try and get a job somewhere so I can make more money for my trip. Today I realized that I have too many key chains attached to two keys. I have two keys for my house, one for the top lock and one for the bottom, and going with those two keys I have ...

Dogs and Workin'

So when we took my dog to the vet the vet said she could have something inflamed in her wristy wrist area or she might possibly have Valley Fever. The good news is that while we were at the vet she did some blood tests and we got them back yesterday and she DOESN'T have Valley Fever. The vet also gave us anti-inflammatory medicine for her and it has helped her and she isn't limping as much. I'm really glad that my dog is okay and that I didn't burn her paws on anything. As for work I guess you could say I have a job? It's working for my school and I can only do it this weekend, but it is still a job. I am running the sound equipment for a dance studio that is renting out my school's auditorium and hiring four people to work it. Two students and two teachers. The students are me and my friend John. John is running the light equipment which is intense because he has to do so much stuff. The teachers are the choir teacher, which is one of my teachers, and the culin...

Taking My Dog To The Doctor

So, since last Wednesday my lovely fluffball of a dog named Biscuit has been limping. All four of her paws have been checked multiple times by everyone in the family and I have checked all her legs and nothing seems to be wrong that we can tell. So today my mother FINALLY made appointment for my dad and I to take her to the vet because it's almost been a week and she is still limping and whining when she gets up. Yesterday we were talking with some family friends and they think she might have burnt the pads of her feet when I took her for a walk last week. When I took her on the walk that day I took her on the asphalt because I had forgotten to bring a poop bag (because she ALWAYS poops on walks. always.)and when we got back nothing seemed wrong and I took my other dog on a walk but this time one the sidewalk because she never poops on a walk and once again I forgot a bag (I forget everything.). When I got back to the house I sat down and both the dogs were chillin' and laying...

Phoenix Comicon 2011

I’m beyond exhausted because of Comicon. I spent a lot of time wandering around the vendor hall looking at all the artists and such. I only went to two panels but I did manage to get to a Kingdom Hearts panel and a Doctor Who panel. In the vendor hall I bought a few comics, an awesome Sailor Moon drawing for my friend, a LOT of buttons, a few fake tattoo things, and some awesome books. I had some good times at con this year. I spent the last day the way I did last year: collecting business cards. I just spent the last hour of so going through all the business cards I got. I had both mine and my friends and so I had to divide them between the two of us, making my job a bit harder. If there is only one card of someone’s that means I have to go to their website today and check them out. It’ll be time consuming but awesome. 8D Speaking of Doctor Who, on Thursday I started watching it. I started with the first episode that came to America (2005) and I have come to the conclusion that I love...

Summah Summah Summah

I sort of love summer. My plans for this summer include: - getting far in qwop - getting far in Robot Unicorn Attack - finish my play - finish my novel - play my uke - add a few generations on the Sims 3 - create art - watch fucktons of LP's - beat LoZ Ocarina of Time - get a job - start planning my road trip with my friends 8] This is all I can think of right now. If I think of anything else I will add it 8D

Funerals

Funerals are very sad. You say goodbye to your loved one and you cry because you know you will never see them again until you die yourself. I was sad at this funeral, but I was happy because like everyone who was there said, it was a good thing. He got to escape the life that was forced upon him. He was a loving, caring, and compassionate man who was taken advantage of and lost. Even though losing him sucked, I know he's a free and happy soul. There is always a fork in the road and sometimes the illusions on one side seem better than the reality on the other. The drugs and the abuse were hidden behind the smiles and the thoughts of being accepted. For anyone reading, I want you to realize that even if your on the wrong path you can always find someone to lead onto a path that will give you joy and a meaning in your life. Live long and prosper XD. Sam.

Junior Year Comes to a Close

As I said farewell to the seniors from my high school today, I realized that I only have one year left of the hell hole of high school. I love my friends and my classes are pretty cool, but the thing that makes it a hell hole are my parents and few classes and people that go to my school. I'm so glad that my year is closing. I only have three more days of class and two of them are half days. One of my earlier posts had something about where my cousin was killed by a police man, well his funeral is going to be sometime between Wednesday and Sunday and I'm nervous and sad. I'm also angry at my father because when he cry's he isn't a man about it. He starts to cry and he puts on his sun glasses and tries to act as if nothing is wrong. Well, dad, it's really weird to put your sunglasses on after you just took them off because you are definitely inside. So why don't you grow a pair and take them off because you just look like a pussy wearing them. Show your tears...

Saving Animals

I feel better that I decided to stop yesterday and save two baby birds. One of them ran in front of my car and I slammed on my breaks to avoid hitting it. After that I got out of my car and attempted to catch them until they ran under a car of a lady who was next to me. I walked up to her window and told her that I saw some baby birds run under her car and she got out of the car and helped me catch them. It was pretty interesting and intense... and we blocked traffic a bit... >.> but STILL! we saved the lives of two baby animals. 8D Win. Sam.

Things That Slap You Across The Face

-finding out that someone you love and are related to dies. -finding out that they died because they got pulled over, supposedly pulled a gun, and was shot at by the cop that pulled them over -knowing your uncle, the father of the dead relative who is also a cop, was the second person on the scene and had to identify the body -getting called at five o'clock to find out your cousin died. -crying and crying not for yourself, but for the fact that your cousin's sister and daughters, mother, and father will never see them again -knowing your uncle has to work with the man who shot his son. -knowing that in a year or less you will forget about your cousin because his name won't be on anyone's lips or minds after he is buried. -knowing that after the funeral, you will think about him for a few weeks before the numbness takes over your mind and you resume your daily routine -knowing you are disappointed in yourself because you know you will forget what happened to him today. History In The Making

We are all a history in the making and thinking about how history is unfolding these days makes me think about how we take four months in school to go through thousands of years of history but we skip all the little cracks in between the large parts of history. Years upon years from now the children sitting in their history class will learn about Osama bin Laden and even though it has taken 10+ years to get him it will take them less than one day to cover the events. Te class will go over the beginning of Osama to his end in a period of less than an hour and a half. I'm not a big history person but I wish we spent more time going over the little things and all the fights that we won and lost to get where we are today. Whether they were fights in a home or fights blown up to a world wide scale, I wanna know. The way history unfolded and still continues to unfold is so much more than in the books. I want to relive how people lived back in the stone age and the ages that follow that. ...

Starship

Win. Have you heard of Team Star Kid? No? You suck BUT if you click this link you will suck no more. StarKidPotter are an amazing group of talented hooligans that produce amazing things such as the stuff on that there youtube. Feel free to browse through their FOUR musicals (all thought up and produced by them). I would recommend starting with A Very Potter Musical, moving on to A Very Potter Sequel, Me and My Dick, and concluding with Starship. All amazing. Then move onto their one season show of Little White Lie. Everything is Supermegafoxyawesomehot. Just sayin. Do it. Sam.

Scrapbooking

It's kind of hard to scrapbook... Especially for a club that has done close to nothing for a year... and for someone who's lazy. Right now I'm supposed to be working on the book but I'm posting a blog to waste time because I don't want to work on it. The book is for drama club and the only things we've done this year are go to camp, do a play, go to festival, do a musical, nothing. We have done no charity work, no heart attacks, NOTHING. We are a shame. I guess I better get started on this interesting scrap book because if I don't do it, no one will. Oi. Sam.

Who Likes Video Games?

This guy!... girl. I haven't written a blog in a long time, but I figured a great way to explain why I haven't was to tell you what video games are my favorite! Basically, I haven't written a blog because I've been playing video games. 8D I still love you ,though, because you're here. You care... Let's move on. My favorite video games, as of recently, are Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas for the Xbox, Kingdom Hearts I for the PlayStation 2, and 007: Golden for the Nintendo 64. I have also fallen in love with Tony Hawk Pro Skater 2 for the original PlayStation because I enjoy making my guy crash in to everything... I'm cruel to the main character in video games. As an example, when I play Grand Theft Auto I drive around and pick up hookers and when they're done doing their thing I kill them. Or I go up to a random person and hit them to death with my guy's fist. I make CJ kill pointlessly all the time and every once in a while I will do a mission. I just...

Back To California?

Yes indeeders. Over spring break, which was about a week ago... ish... I went to California for a theatre trip and had a blast. I saw Beauty and the Beast in a theatre and the performance was amazing with such a mind boggling set. There was so much going on I didn't know where to look. I took a tour of the Paramount studios, which was also awesome, and went to Disneyland and had lots of fun. Lots upon lots upon lots of fun. This upcoming week I am going to California AGAIN but this time with my choir. We're going to sing at San Juan Capistrano and go on a dinner cruise, which I am not sure how I feel about. We are also gonna go to Disneyland and Knott's Berry Farm! I'm so excited. So many trips to California and none of them to see my friend, Megan. Sadness. Mooshta. Sam.

Getting My Act Together

I'm unhealthy. I eat a lot of junk food, I weigh somewhere around 230 pounds and I'm only 5'3. I never exercised or moved much at all and that is how I gained weight and became a 230 pound blob laziness. I have decided that this needs to change. This morning I went for an hour long hike, took a fifteen minute bike ride, and took my dogs for a fifteen minute walk. I ate food that was healthy and I can honestly say that I'm excited to lose weight. I'm tired of how I look and how I feel I look. I'm done with being lazy and blah, I need to change. Have hope because you can always change too. Sam.

NEW COMPUTER!!!!!

WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! I thoroughly enjoy having this new computer. It runs so much faster than the other one and it's just nice in general. One of the best things is that I can actually use Skype and have internet windows up AT THE SAME TIME. It's amazing. I know this sounds like I'm freaking out for nothing, but if you were me you'd be freaking out too. With love from a supercalifragilisticexpialidocious and glorious computer. Sam.

It's Time For Some New Stuff

First thing on the list of new stuff is going to be a new computer. My mom is buying it on Tuesday and I don't know when it'll come in or anything but it's new. It's gonna be amazing because this computer is slowly shutting down. YouTube videos won't play unless I'm on the channel of the video publishers to watch the video. That made no sense... I also think I need to start off on a fresh foot. I need to get my act together and really bust my ass tryin' to make the most of what high school years I have left. I need to start dressing nicer, or at least not constantly wear t-shirts, jeans, and converse... well, I still may always wear converse. I wanna look nice and lose weight and start wearing make up more often than I actually do. I'll wear more jewlery and nicer stuff than rubber and yarn/string bracelets. I think it's time that I just... shape up. Hopefully all will go well. Sam.

The Sad/Happy Times

It's always sad when a show comes to an end. It doesn't matter how much of hell it was to you or how much you hated it, you just know that you won't be seeing all the people you just spent two months with every day. It's a saddening and heartbreaking experience to see the seniors go and even if I don't like them they're still that brother or sister that helped you when you needed. Theatre kids are a family and there are so many bonds and love/hate fests that it's ridiculous. I'm glad Footloose came to a close because I can finally get sleep where I actually rest, but I'm sad because I won't be seeing these people on a daily basis like I used to. I love them all. I also hate them all enough to not go to the cast party >.> Sam.

Footloose

This is what show my school has decided to do for the spring show. We go up on Wednesday with a parent night on Monday and I have to say that we are not ready in any sense. There are usually things you think you can improve upon no matter how long you've been practicing for your performance but our show is so bad that I wish we had a few more weeks to iron some stuff to make it at least decent. I'm the stage manager of the show and I can't call the queue's right because I've only been calling them for two days, the actors barely know their songs, if at all, and there are a couple of other tech things that could use some takin' care of. The good thing is that tomorrow I have to get up at seven, get gas, and drive a half an hour to my high school so we can have a tech day. I love my director to bits but the actors are making this experience suck balls. I don't wanna go to the tech day and I need more time to get the calls. I just need time. Sam.

Choir Trip!

So I went on a choir trip this weekend to Northern Arizona University and we sang and it was awesome. Both choirs got superior for their rating and all was amazing. I ate way too much crap food and had too much soda and chocolate milk, but I had fun and that was the point... that and singing. I also got to meet my brothers girlfriend and she is pretty epic. So much to do in the next couple of months, so little time. Oi, prepare for the future my friends. Sam.

You Wanna Know Something?

I love video games but I find them relatively hard because of one thing that I do. I button mash like it's no ones business. No matter what the game button mashing is likely to ensue upon distress or boredom. I don't think I've played a single game where I haven't button mashed... ever. It's awesome. I wish life had a button mash option because time always seems to go faster. I want to get things over with sooner like my audition for regional choir, which will suck no matter what I do, and any other unpleasantness. Button mashing = time machine. You know you want a button mash option. I wonder what will happen if I don't button mash on a video game... I shall found out. Are you ready for a list of video games I play? Good. Here they are: Kingdom Hearts, Pokémon, the Sims (which actually doesn't involve button mashing... sometimes), Mario, the Legend of Zelda... that is sadly all I can think of off the top of my head... whatever. Later my alligators. Sam.

Oi.

I'm so glad that I don't have rehearsal today because I can actually RELAX. It's freaking awesome. I've been on the computer since I got home (shortly after three o'clock) and I've been catching up on YouTube, DeviantArt, Facebook, etc. stuff and it's been awesome. I'm also thinking about playing the Sims after this or going to my room and chillin' and stuff. Hmmm... Tomorrow I have a birthday party to go to and we have to dress up. It's a Harry Potter party. I'm excited. 8D

Manga, Manga, Manga

Manga, Manga, Manga, Manga. Love, Love, Love, Love. 8D manga is beautiful. I just finished reading a series of manga called Marmalade Boy and it was awesome. I just started reading Kodocha: Sana's Stage and it is also beautiful so far. I guess since I've stopped attempting to read The Road and started reading things that I actually like my reading spark has erupted again. I'm reading fanfictions, like I said before, manga, and novels and such and it's glorious. Speaking of fanfiction once again, have you guys ever read My Immortal because it is honestly just... it's a WTF story and it's hilarious in its failure. I love hate it because it's stupid and funny but the way it's written kills me on the inside. My school is doing a musical production of Footloose and I'm the stage manager. I love it but I'm exhausted and it's only the second week of rehearsal. I need sleep and time away from my people so bad that it's not even funny. I mean, I ...

My Reading Goes Past The Bounds Of Books

It started a while back when I was just starting to get into writing things when my mom showed me a new paper article about the website FanFiction . I brought it up on my browser and immediately made an account. I started reading all these wonderful fan stories about everything I loved and I wondered who had thought to make up such a website and how much I wanted to kiss them for doing it. For a year or two I fell deeper and deeper into the realm of FanFiction and then one day I just stopped. I had over 150 favorite stories I was keeping up with and about 100 authors that I loved just as much and I kept finding more stories and more authors. My inbox was so crowded with the latest update on a FF that I started reading them less and less. I couldn't handle all the awesomeness that was the authors and the beautiful creations they made. This was... I'd say about 2008. Recently in choir I was talking to my friends Andi and Sandy and my friend Sandy started talking about all the awe...

Happy New Year!

Even if the New Year started yesterday! Yay! So there have only been a few things that have happened since my last blog post which is either good or bad... On Wednesday I went over to my friend Kaitlin's house taught her guitar, badly, then we went to the bookstore, bought food and Starbucks, and went to see Tangled! Which was awesome... I love Tangled and I want to see it again. YAY PASCAL! 8D We didn't get in bed and start sleeping until after four in the morning and thus we woke up the same day at about eleven thirty. She got up and did stuff and I slept more because I'm a bad friend 8D When she woke me up a half an hour later it was snowing and I was like OMGWTF? Because it NEVER EVER EVER snows here. It was a big shocker and though I may not have shown it due to sleepiness I was shocked and happy... and cold. After that we sat around and blobbed for a while before I left and almost forgot my guitar and the hippo sleeping bag thing she and one of my other friends had go...
